What You’re Getting

I’ve been behind a set of turntables since I was in high school, and I still get the same thrill from a packed dance floor that I did on night one. This is the only thing I’ve ever wanted to be exceptional at, and I still treat every single booking like it’s the one that’s going to define me.

This is my full-time career. My entire livelihood depends on how your night actually goes, which means I have every reason in the world to get it right and none to phone it in.

I run the mic as comfortably as I run the decks, and most people are surprised by how little they hear from me. I’d rather let the right song do the talking than fill space with my own voice. Knowing when to hold back is most of the job, and it’s the part nobody teaches you.

When something goes sideways, and on a night with this many moving parts, something eventually does, I stay calm and I fix it. You won’t know it happened. That’s the point.

Every event I take on gets built from nothing. The planning conversations, the equipment layout, the way I read and run your room, all of it gets built around you, specifically, because that’s the only way I know how to do this well.

I’ll listen to every idea you bring me, and I’ll actually use them. But if I see a version of your night that’s bigger than what you asked for, I’m going to tell you, because making sure your plan is as good as it can possibly be matters more than simply executing it as written.

I’ve built nights where you look up mid-song and see people out on that floor you never expected to see there: the uncle who doesn’t dance, the coworker who came alone, people outside your closest circle who got pulled in anyway. That comes from reading a room correctly, moment by moment, all night long.

I’ve also stood on every side of this. I’ve been the groom. I’ve been the best man. I’ve been the DJ, and I’ve been the guest just trying to have a good time. I know exactly what this day looks like and feels like from every one of those angles, and that’s exactly why I take the obligation as seriously as I do: no matter which one of those you are, I want you walking away from your night knowing it was handled by someone who actually understood what was at stake.

That’s what one very specific obsession and a genuine love for this work looks like when you put it all in one room. This is what I do, and I’m not slowing down anytime soon.

How I Work

Long before your event date, I sit down with each couple and build a real plan: what you want to walk down the aisle to, what gets your family up dancing, what you don’t want played under any circumstances, and whether the traditional stuff (garter toss, bouquet toss, all of it) stays, changes, or gets cut.

Time in radio and hospitality shows up in how I run a room: reading energy, adjusting on the fly, keeping things moving without anyone noticing the machinery behind it.

Every couple gets the same standard of care regardless of who they are or who they’re marrying. LGBTQ+ couples, multicultural ceremonies, blended families, whatever your night looks like. That’s how this business has always run.
