I’m a DJ and an MC, both at a level I am very proud of. Each one takes years to get right on its own, and I’ve spent those years on both. Not just in terms of time but actual effort: real education, training, and mentoring. That’s the whole reason Elite Mobile Entertainment works the way it does.
During planning, that’s where I put the most work in: learning how you want to feel, understanding who I’m serving, and getting a real sense of what’s important to you. That understanding is what I lean on to manipulate the energy, vibe, and mood of a room: playing the right song, the right way, at the right time, and pacing an event through its natural ebbs and flows as an MC to achieve the results I do. That yields better results than just asking for a playlist. On the day itself, I switch hats and rock the room. Every set I play comes out of that planning conversation. I’d rather show up with exactly what your event needs than whatever’s easiest for me to bring.
I’m not the least expensive DJ in Tucson. What you’re paying for is the work most DJs skip: a creative soundtrack built specifically for your event, transitions planned in advance instead of guessed at live, and the judgment calls in the moment that keep a night from going flat. That’s what it actually takes to do this well, and I’m not willing to do less.
What I Do
Weddings. Full-service DJ and MC work for ceremonies and receptions, built around you, not a fixed package.
Private Parties. Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, holiday parties: the events where the room needs real energy management, not background noise.
Unhinged Parties. For the hosts who want the party pushed further than most vendors are willing to go.
Uplighting, a 360 photo booth, and cold spark effects are also in my wheelhouse. I manage all of it myself, so it’s not handed off to someone without a vested interest in your event’s success.
Venues I Know
Tucson and Southern Arizona have a handful of venues that host most of the area’s best weddings: The Treasury 1929, Tanque Verde Ranch, Skyline, The Ritz Carlton, Stillwell House, Tubac Golf Resort, and Wrigley Mansion up in Phoenix, where I’m the in-house exclusive AV provider. I’ve also worked venues like Ventana Canyon, El Conquistador, Hacienda del Sol, La Paloma, Caesars Republic in Scottsdale, and the Heard Museum. I’ve worked all of them enough times to know how sound behaves in each room before I ever load in.
What Other People in the Room Have Said
A few things people didn’t have to say, but did. Venue staff at more than one of these locations have told me, unprompted, that I mix it up instead of playing the same songs every time. Another DJ once brought me on to guest a set at a high-stakes event and told me afterward it was the best he’d heard, and he’d heard plenty. I DJ’d the AZ Bride Afterparty at the Omni Montelucia in 2024, a room full of other people in this industry, and left with the same kind of feedback.
I don’t bring this up to talk myself up. I bring it up because it’s a better answer than “trust me.” Other people in this business said it first.
