Caesars Republic Scottsdale is a modern hotel in the heart of Old Town, next door to Scottsdale Fashion Square, with Camelback Mountain views and a mix of indoor ballroom and open air spaces across the property. It is one of the newer venues in the Valley and it is built for the way people actually celebrate now.
The spaces here, and why the range matters
I have DJ’d events at Caesars Republic and handled the uplighting across all of its event spaces, the Romulus Ballroom, the Camelback Veranda and the Cleopatra Pool Deck. That range matters more here than at most venues. The Romulus is a formal indoor room and behaves like one. The Veranda and the Pool Deck are open air, with the mountain and the Old Town skyline in view and none of the acoustic help a ceiling gives you. The sound and lighting plan for each is genuinely different, and knowing all three means I am not adapting a ballroom setup to a pool deck on the day.
Uplighting in a room this new
Having lit every space on this property, I know which walls take colour well and which ones already do the work on their own. A newer building gives you cleaner surfaces to light than a historic room does, and that opens up what is possible with colour across an evening. I plan it with your photographer in mind, because uplighting that looks incredible to the eye can fight a camera if nobody thought about it first.
Old Town Scottsdale, without leaving the property
The Old Town location means your guests get walkable nightlife and dining without you having to arrange transportation between venues, while the property itself still gives you the range of a full resort. That makes it a strong pick for a wedding weekend with a lot of out of town guests, and for the welcome party and the after party that tend to come with one. I work with the hotel’s events team, your planner and your photographer through the night, and I build the soundtrack around how your evening is actually running.
